Syllabus
Material should be based on the NDCA, Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray or equivalent American Syllabus and the ISTD International Syllabus. No continuity style is allowed in closed bronze American events. Open divisions are not material-restricted. Championships and Scholarships are open divisions.

Dance Levels
A student may dance two standards of dance, such as Bronze and Silver, but cannot dance three levels. A student may not enter Bronze and Gold entries in the same style.

Age Divisions
Adults may enter their true age category and one division younger. Preteen, Junior, and Youth may enter their true age category and one division older.

Scholarships
For each scholarship a student enters, she must enter the same amount of dances in the single dance category. Scholarships and Championships are unisex. Scholarships are open to any adult age. Scholarships must have a minimum of 3 participants in order to pay prize money.

Professional Events
Professional events are offered in all five divisions. Each division must have a minimum of 3 participants in order to pay prize money. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event if there are less than 3 couples entered.

On Deck
Dancers are required to be in the On Deck area two heats prior to their scheduled heat. All dancers should be in the ballroom at least 30 minutes prior to the time they are scheduled to dance.

Videos
No video taping or filming will be allowed. A professional video company is present to do filming.

Charges
The competitions cannot be held liable for any personal incidental charges.

Late Entries
Entries received after the deadline are subject to a $50 late fee.

Cancellations
Cancellations received prior to two weeks before the competition will be refunded less a $50 per person processing fee. After that date, cancellations with a refund will only be accepted in an emergency medical situation and a doctor's certificate will be required for a refund. A credit card will be required to hold any hotel reservation. Hotel cancellations must be in received, in writing prior to the cut-off date or hotel room, fees, and taxes will be charged to credit card.

Payments
All payments received after the deadline must be by cashier's check, bank check, or credit card. Personal or studio checks will not be accepted.

Advertisements
Advertisements are available in full pages. Fees are $250 per page in the Pro-Am Competition Program, and $500 per page in the Pro Competition and Show Program, or our ad special, $300 for a page in both programs. All ads must be camera ready.

Dietary Needs
If you have special dietary need, please contact us in advance.

NDCA Registration
In order to compete in the Fire and Ice Dancesport Spectacular, all professionals and amateur competitors must be registered with the NDCA. If you cannot show proof of your registration, you will need to register at the event, in ordered to compete.
